Cappadocia Travel Guide
Cappadocia, Turkey, is one of the most fascinating and gorgeous places I’ve ever visited. In our Cappadocia Travel Guide, we’ve included a list of must-see attractions as well as thorough information on everything you should know before going.
In which season should you go to Cappadocia?
Cappadocia, which is beautiful in every season, looks magnificent in winter. And in the winter season, very enjoyable photos emerge.
However, it is easier to travel during the summer season and it can be much more enjoyable on balloon tours.
Where to stay in Cappadocia?
Not staying in a cave hotel in Cappadocia is a missed opportunity.
I’ve compiled more on this and combined them in this post. You can click here for information about accommodation in Cappadocia.
Be sure to join the balloon tours
An excellent experience where you can watch Cappadocia from a bird’s eye view.
The reason why many tourists visit Cappadocia is balloon tours because you cannot experience it everywhere. Balloon tours start with the first lights of the day and champagne is popped after landing.
Watch the sunrise and sunset in Cappadocia
Sunrise in Cappadocia is quite special. The sky is quietly filled with balloons and offers a completely magical sight. It is also very enjoyable to watch the sunset views in Uchisar or Göreme.
Göreme Open Air Museum
The Göreme Open Air Museum is a valley with a variety of rock formations, however these rock formations are distinct from those seen elsewhere in the region.
M.S. is the historical name for this area. It is a rock village that dates from the 4th century, or the early Christian era.
Each of the rock blocks in this town, which accommodated monastic life until the 13th century, had distinct social rooms such as a church, chapel, dining hall, school, living room, and kitchen. There are many museums in Cappadocia, but we want to include more new experiences in our Cappadocia travel guide.
Try Mulled Wine
If you went in the winter season, you can enjoy the sunset view by drinking mulled wine.
But if you went during the summer, don’t worry. Because you should definitely taste the excellent wines produced in Cappadocia in summer.
